Wonderful site folks. I am a home gardener that was a landcaper in Vancouver trying to rediscover his roots (sic). Thanks for doing what you love so the rest of us can do what we love. Best of fortune!

I am so glad to have come across your site while searching for Japanese maples.

I own a landscape design company in Nova Scotia and am always on the lookout for local nurseries to purchase from - I suppose "local" now means surrounding provinces since internet shopping began.

I would love to arrange a visit later on as we were planning a trip to PEI this year.

Looking forward to meeting you!

Crystal Godfrey,

Yes I know what tree you speak of. It is the Magnolia tree. And the one your mom had was the Southern Magnolia. The scent off the flowers are intoxicating.

Yes we carry many magnolias but not the southern Magnolia as it gets to large. Also we do not ship to the US.

Good luck you should have no trouble finding some magnolias for sale in your area. :)Kev

I was so happy to run across your website. I am trying to locate a type of tree or maybe it is a large shrub....anyway, my grandmother had one at her house in Va. It stands 7' tall or so. I remember it having white flowers. It seems like the flower bloomed from a brown husk. It looked like a pecan shell. It had little pockets or cocoons of seeds - lots of seeds - maybe the size of peas. It smelled so wonderful - very sweet. I was hoping I would find it here. I have been looking for so long. I want one so bad. I hope you know what it is and that you have one! 6(^)6

Really enjoyed browsing your site. First time ever commenting on a site. Excellent. Truly excited about the varieties you offer and hope to order promptly. Like the idea of growing up smaller tree seedlings. Thanks for the hour's enjoyment. Wished we lived closer.

**) :DD I love this site. Visit it probably every day to look at all the beautiful choices. Don't see any updates for 2012 though, should we just presume that whatever stock is listed is all there is? Thanks!!!

I wish to thank everyone for all their kind words, well wishes and encouragement. I am extremely passionate about trees and love running this nursery. My goal is to offer trees and shrubs that will thrive here and that you can't find every day at your local garden centre. The fact is every tree on this website...I love. So a word to the wise, never ask me what my favourite tree. :) However, I must admit I have an absolute love over Japanese Maples. Then again, I love the Butternut and Katsura.....ok the list goes on. Thanks again and see you all soon at the Honey Tree Nursery or at least we can ship some trees that you may love to you so you may enjoy them as much as I!

I am impressed by your selection of trees, as I'm sure everybody is who visits your site; still, I won't be happy until I pay a trip to the actual nursery. I'm elated that my neighbours told me about Honey Tree else I might never have found out that the Katsura tree can survive on PEI.

--had one where I lived before (west coast). After just 10 years of no maintenance whatever, I was sad to have to leave it behind. Great, great shade tree!!

Great pictures and descriptions of plants! Source of inspiration for my yard! Down here, the nursery plant lists are often dominated by species best suited for Washington, DC and southward. My yard performs best with plants suited for the northern climes.

Thank you so much for your donation of the Banana Plant to the Canadian Cancer Society's Prince County Relay for Life. It was very much appreciated and was awarded to a young man for an all night challenge.

I love 6(^)6 6(^)6 all of the Japanese Maples that I have ordered. To date , that would be 7, bringing my total to 14.

The quality is excellent 6(^)6 6(^)6 and the prices can not be met or beat by any Garden Center I have ever dealt with.

I have suggested this site to several folks who have had the same excellent experience with quality and customer service...Kevin is great!!.

I highly recommend anyone even considering placing an order to pick up the phone and do it today before the variety you like is sold out....and at those prices , they probably will...
